Jessica Otis is a CLIR/DLF Postdoctoral Fellow in Data Curation for Early Modern Studies at Carnegie Mellon University. She received both her MS in Mathematics and her PhD in History from the University of Virginia. Her research focuses on the cultural history of mathematics and cryptography in early modern England. She has presented her work at the annual meetings of the North American Conference of British Studies, the History of Science Society, and the Renaissance Society of America.
